Oh yeah, that happens sometimes too when people remove the program. :/
And Azalea's link works. ^_^

Hey James, what happened to your facebook account? You vanished from my friends list and someone sent me a rather rude and nasty message from your account. Hope all's ok with you.

Ya... It was hacked. I had my phone number in the private information too and now I'm even getting suspicious phone calls, so I'm getting the police involved.
I think I know which group did it too. They mess with anyone who has anything to do with anthro characters. I'm sorry that you or anyone else may have received such rude messages. This is actually the first I heard of that part. I'll put it in my police report.

Ouchie. I was pretty sure it was that you got hacked, cause your picture changed to some turbin wearing guy and it suddenly said you were in Saudi Arabia. The rude message was in response to my inquiry on facebook as to why you weren't on my friend list anymore, but unfortuneately I deleted it as soon as I read it as I didn't believe it was actually from you.
Sorry to say, but they seem to have totally screwed up all your stuff there as well. Do you want me to forfeit our Jedi-Sith battle so we can start a fair one again when you get your account back? It would only be fair I think.
Anyway, sorry to hear you got hacked. Hope they can catch whomever it was and prosecute.

Oh how creepy. I hope everything works out for you too. What a bummer. (I haven't been on FB for awhile.)

That is creepy... and people who do things like that are total jerks to boot (I would use stronger language, but I don't think the filter on the forum would allow it).
On the other hand, I'm glad they didn't use your friends list to pick other targets for their childish actions. I hope (as az stated in his post) that they catch the @#$*#$ and then you can sue them in a civil suit for everything they're worth and more... or something like that.

Sadly though with programs to hide or confuse IP addresses, the police admit they can't do too much. Added to the fact that jurisdiction also plays a huge role...

Ugh, that's why this world needs Net Navis (see the Rockman.EXE series)... and Net Police too...

How is it you're getting hacked? Is it location or content?

Could be the ISP is getting hacked, or that there's spyware that sneakily installed itself on the computer most frequently used to access the accounts being hacked...

No idea, but I'm going to format and reinstall everything just in case.

That's terrible ... and scary. Some people just have too much time and anger on their hands.
Best of luck, James.
