Content
- Keep content at a PG-13-ish/Teen rating.
- No Pornographic Material/adult themes
- Mild Swearing allowed. dag yo! , hell, sh!t and such are fine. We ask you edit the F-bomb. Use strong language sparingly and only in-character.
- No material meant to degrade anyone's particular race, religion/creed, or person. And by race I don't mean elf, demon, Anielf.
- No use of illegal drugs. Alcohol use and Smoking is allowed if characters are of age.
- Some Violence and Gore permitted.
- Romance is allowed, keep it mild. No fondling the bathing suit area. Keep it at hugs and kisses.
- Romantic advances between characters is only allowed if both creators have agreed on the relationship.
- No yaoi, yuri, or any other japanese term that means same-sex couple situations.
- Censored nudity is allowed when appropriate.
- This should be pretty standard and common sense. Just be respectful.
Artist Expectations
- The minimum page per round is one. There is no limit to the maximum number of pages you can create each round.
- If you're drawing during the current Round, please make sure you take a look at the forums in case any rules have changed, and for updated story ideas.
- Please email a page-by-page explanation of your pages when you submit your pages.
- If you are having trouble meeting the deadline or something suddenly comes up, please notify the admin if you can. You can get extra time if necessary.
- If you fail to complete a round without notifying admin of a problem, artists will be blacklisted and unable to participate until make-up art is created.
Graphic Guidelines
- Finished pages should be sent to Modesty's Email
- Since pages will be displayed online, save them as .JPG No .PSD files, etc.
- Keep page widths to 650px.
- Use a readable font for dialogue or Print nicely. Try to use correct spelling.
- Don't forget to sign the pages YOU created. ^_^
Other Notes
- Try to keep characters true to their creator's personality. But feel free to add your own flare to it. You will have to assume a lot.
- If someone totally misinterprets/misrepresents your character, you can make note of it, but the artist who drew it is NOT required to go back and edit.
- Pages can be made in any medium. You do not need to have digitally inked, fully colored pages. Just pencils are fine. You just have to be able to scan and send it.
- Feel free to experiment with styles. Impromangas are a great excuse to practice a new technique.
- You are not obilgated to stay with the project. An artist can leave at any time. It would be nice if you mention it, but if you do not show signs of activity for more than 3 rounds, you will be assumed off the team and your character may be written out of the plot.
- Please enjoy doing this. It is a lot of work and requires a lot of time. The results are always rewarding.
Moderator Powers
- Moderators act as editors and may alter your pages. This only occurs if we find a typo, dialogue inconsistancies, or inappropriate images.
- Moderators reserve the right NOT to post the pages you send if they fail to meet content guidelines. This does not count against graphic requirements if you send us .PNG files instead of .JPG. We can change those and will post them.
