Bio: Marron is the eldest of five. She lives in the village Irsh near Pravignon. Her father Ailill is a local physian. Her human mother, Siofra runs a large household and usually acts as midwife. She has three brothers and one sister, Gru'mar, Oisin, Davi, and Noroa.
Marron herself lives apart from her family in her own small home and works as assistant chronicle keeper for the village. She knows much about the world in her studies and writes the personal histories of Luciferus Lux, the Ambassador to Lucior and the royal family of Pravignon.
The novel "White Cross" tells more of her story and her relationship with Lucius. (Lucius: You can say she's my lover.) <_< Sha you!

Attire: worn jeans, red converse high tops, grey t-shirt with blue sleeves. big ear-phones.
Abilities/Powers: Wind Element, Singing, wrestling, Gladius
Bio: Older half- brother of Olenga (aka AJ) Spraken. He and his brother live on their own since their mother and step-father died. (Yeah...poor woman had 3 husbands). His biological father died of a sudden heart attack when he was only 2. His mother remarried August Spraken, a soldier. Angelo was four when AJ (Olenga) was born. Mr. Spraken was killed in an automobile accident when Angelo was 8 and AJ 4.
Once again, since she had a hard time getting a job, their mother moved to America with her two sons. Angelo is multi-lingual in German, Latin, Italian and English. (Don't worry, I don't know half of these languages so it won't come into play). He had no trouble with the move. AJ had a harder time adjusting. Angelo acted as father and older brother for AJ. Still unable to find work with her limited education, Angelo's mother remarried once more to a business owner.
AJ was never very adaptable to new people. Often times he would run away from home, get into fights at school or find ways to make mischief. It was a great strain on their mother, so Angelo tried to be extra good.
Their new step-father's business went sour and they were in trouble again. Angelo was 14 now and AJ 10. To help the family out, Angelo dropped out of school to find work himself. AJ continued to run off for days sometimes. Their parents took to drinking and things took a turn for the worse.
One day after delivering newspapers, Angelo heard AJ crying and holding a gun. When he calmed his brother down and walked towards their apartment, Angelo found his mother's body beaten to death and his father shot through the eye.
"It was him or me," AJ sniffled. "He was going to kill me like mom".
There was no where to go after that. Angelo took AJ with him to the police station. Scared out of his wits, AJ ran away from Angelo before he could be turned in. Angelo couldn't find his brother for many weeks. The police sent Angelo to live with foster parents and he went back to school. He still worked where he could and kept an eye out for his missing brother.
(NO, I did not make this up on the fly...this is one of the many versions of the charactesr Angelo and Olenga. Olenga is a gang name and he becomes involved in bad circles, using his powers for self-gain. Olenga eventually becomes a well paid assassin.
Angelo continues school...and I'm not sure what to do with him yet.)

Name: Jaesguamarj
Race: Feline Anielf (Will explain the race on the bottom)
Gender: Male
Best Genre: Fantasy (has also been in 'modern fantasy')
Personality: Quiet and serious. His mood is difficult to read, but he feels an almost constant sorrow for his family and a burning hatred for those who abuse the rights of others. He tries to hide his feelings and lets them bottle up inside. Though he tries to fight it, in times of great stress he can't control his emotions and his rage explodes out of him. It's not too uncommon to see him sulking up in a tree when his unpleasent memories get too hard to bear.
History/Bio: Jaesguamarj lived in an unnamed hamlet on the outskirts of the anielves domain. He saw his own father murdered before his eyes as a young lad as he and his mother were branded and taken to become slaves. Though stronger because of it, Jaesgaumarj had to endure years of gruesome labor and unfit conditions. His mother's body suffered because of the strain and stumbled to the ground. Their owner was strict and abusive. Jaesguamarj couldn't stand watching his mother being punished and ultimatly lashed out on his owner and accidently killed him. It wasn't enough to save his mother though as she gave her last breaths while in her sons arms. In addition to the emotional scars, he took a slash across his torso from the fight, physically scarring him. Later found by a headmaster of a school, he is shown mercy and is treated for. Touched by the young feline's story, he offers Jaesguamarj free tuition at his school of magic. Determined to use the knowledge to stop to evils of slavery everywhere, Jaesguamarj accepts.
Appearance: Messy dark brown hair, green eyes, brown-orange fur, ragged green trousers, an off-white tunic, brand of the slaves on his right arm and large scar accross his torso. (He will likely wear a new outfit as well later in the comic)
Abilities/Powers: Excells at brawling (unarmed combat), and is a quick study with bows and weilding two blades at once. He's semi-literate and he has difficulty speaking. For reasons unknown to him, he cannot yell and/or roar (except in a specail case may or may not happen in this comic). He's slealthy, an excellent climber, and is very agile & quick even for other feline anielves. He also seems to have a strange resistance to magic whether it's bad or good (though he's not immune)...

Name: Joyalranu (Joy)
Race: Feline Anielf
Gender: Female
Best Genre: Fantasy (has also been in 'modern fantasy')
Personality: Studious, assertive, usually keeps to herself and as concequence of that, she isn't used to relationships and doesn't have very good people skills. She's not one to hold back her emotions though and it visibly shows what she's feeling.
History/Bio: Joy is one of three siblings born in the same litter. One brother was taken during the night by demons and has never been heard from since. Her other brother turned his sights on the sea to find their missing brother. It's rumored that he turned to piracy. Joy's mother was never a good role model, in fact she was a villaness. Joy and her siblings never knew their father since he was killed by their mother before they were born. They were spared of being raised by her from their grandfather on their dad's side who rescued (or essentailly kidnapped) them for the better. Joy was always ashamed of her mother for the evil deeds she done. By having her nose constantly in books, Joy never had much time for friends. She and her brother were trained early in their lives by their grandfather who taught them magic. Now to further her education, Joy aims her sights on school.
Appearance: Blue hair, yellow eyes, orange fur, purple vest over a deep pink sleeveless shirt, blue knee high pants, and silver hoop earrings.
Abilities/Powers: Expert in general and combat related spells and has a great memory. Along with most feline ani-elves, Joy is also quick and agile (though not nearly as quick as Jaesguamarj)

The anielf is one of my own creations. I'll try to explain it briefly while still giving some history behind it.

-Feline (cats) is the form these antho characters are. There are other options that anielves can be, but these two were born into feline families. General traits of the felines is that they are quicker and more agile, have claws and sharp teeth, good night vision, and better better senses than that of an elf (vision, hearing, smelling).

-Anielf is short for animal elf. In James' notes we read... The anielf race at one time were regular looking half elves without an animal form. However tensions between humans and elves caused persecution for the half elves since they weren't trusted by either side. Eager to escape the confict, many half-elven tribes fled deep into the woods and there organized a new race. Calling on their most powerful shamans they were able to alter their forms with each tribe choosing the animal that best represented themselves. Those born of these altered half elves also became an anielf. There are numerous kinds of anielves including (but not limited to) cats, dogs, wolves, foxes, mice, rabbits, and squirrels. Since then, much time had passed and the knowledge of how that feat was accomplished by those shamans were forgotten.

Weapon of choice: Throwing Daggers, which he throws with his telekinesis.

Personality: Kai is very cocky, and likes to show off. he also has a thing for beautiful women.
abilities: Kai has many telekinetic powers, some of which i will go through now:
*telekinetik grab: grabbing and levitating things with the power of his mind
*energy drain: sapping the strength from another being with skin to skin contact, leaving the victim drained of energy
*basic shapeshifting: allows him to change form, but only momentarily and only very basic changes eg:hair colour, facial details
*teleportation: allows Kai to teleport over short distances, very useful when fighting.


i cant really think of a bios, but if anyone else can, that would be cool.

So much for working on either my comic or commissions. I created my impromanga character instead. I'm quite proud of her ^_^ It's the first time in a long while that I've doodled a random character that I like right off the bat. And to think I was initially going to draw a gun toting guy. Anyway, without further ado, here she is:




Name: Sylphi Valentine
Occupation: Paladin
Race: A cross between fae and human.
Abilities:
1) Crossbow: Sylphi is a sharp shooter with her magic crossbow. With her fae powers, she doesn't need to carry arrows, but instead can create them with magic. Right now, she only has the ability to create arrows made of general energy. As she matures and her powers grow, she'll be able to create arrows with various elements.

2) Short sword: Strapped to her leg, Sylphi carries the a hilt in the shape of an ankh. Like her crossbow, the short sword is activated by magic. While dormant, it's simply a hilt. In order to use it as a weapon, Sylphi can create a blade of magic. Likely this will be limited to an energy blade rather any other element, as Sylphi doesn't like using short swords since her close combat skills are fairly weak. Thus, she needs to use all her concentration on footwork and fighting forms, and has little focus to spare on trying to mold her weapon into different lenghts or elements.

3) Magic: Due to the fact that she's a halfling, Sylphi's magic is fairly unstable. In order to use it, she needs to have a focus (ie. her crossbow or sword hilt). If she were to attempt to blast things with magic, it would likely end up exploding in her face. She's always trying to find ways to meld normal weapons with magic. Now if only she could find that fabled weapons master she's been looking for ...

4) Feminine wiles: Heck. Sylphi knows she's cute and will use it to her advantage. Her fickle fae nature and her amoral human side combined means that she has little qualms in doing anything she needs to do in order get what she wants.

5) Healing: Again, Sylphi works best with a magic focus. In order to heal, she needs to go through an elaborate ceremony. Each healing ceremony is specific to the person being healed, which means Sylphi needs to know them fairly well in order to heal them. She also needs to care about them enough so that she doesn't accidentally channel negative energy and kill them. When all's said and done, most people will suffer through a lot of pain before they ask for any of Sylphi's help

6) Flight: Sylphi may or may not develop the ability to fly. Depends on how kitchy it seems XD If she does, then those wings on her hat are miraculously going to get bigger.

Costume:
1) Horns: They're not really horns. It's really her hair wrapped up in blue cloth. I have no explanation for this. I just thought it would look cool XD The ends of the cloth wrapped around her hair end in a pair of spearheads. Also thought it would look cool. I hope she doesn't poke her eye out.

2) Hat: The ankh is Sylphi's symbol as it is the symbol of the paladin. So are wings, in my opinion. Yeah ... that made sense >_> It's also my attempt at a parody of a bishop's hat.

3) Dress: It's a side split skirt. I didn't portray that very well.

4) Gravity defying boots: They're actually strapped to her calf so they don't fall down. Again, thought it would look cool ^__^

History:

I'm going to have to work on this later cuz I don't really know ...

Personality:
Happy go lucky, but like a dog with a bone when she wants something.

And ... yeah ... I'll think about this more when I have more time to replenish my creative juices.

<_< I wrote up her bio as soon as her idea started nagging me. Her pictures came next. Used reference from my pose sketch book...so they are probably poses from magazines.

Name: Sileath Illeanna Laurentide Ferverus AKA: Ms.Silf
Race: Siren
Gender: female
Best Genre: sci-fi /fantasy I guess

Job: Counsellor, ‘dorm mother’, On-site substitute teacher


Personality: Ahahaha....Silf is a very serious individual even if she has her flighty moments. She is caring and eternally concerned about the well being of the students. She doesn't back down from a real challenge. Where the students are involved Silf is a ready on campus mother who nags, comforts, disciplines and cares for the students. She's fiercely protective and won't hesitate to break up a serious fight between students even at the risk of her own safety. She listens quietly and reads beneath words very well. She doesn't force feed the students but tries to get them to look from all angles of a situation and make their own decision.


Brief History: Silf was once a student of magic at the school. She had good grades and was in general an average student. She graduated and then disappeared for many years. It wasn't known where she had gone or what had happened in that time. Some years later she suddenly reappeared at the school with a fully valid psychology degree and teaching certificate.

She's been working at the school since but never gives a clear explanation as to why she just completely disappeared. Except for a few close faculty members no one really knows about her ‘self-improvement’ (cybernetics) which she obtained sometime during her absence.


Appearance:
Hair: Long and to the waist, short eye length feathery uneven bangs. Dark blue with not a speck of grey. Her 'professor' hair is normally a tight bun while her councillor or regular hair can be any number of styles. She even lets her students curl and braid it.

Eyes: Metallic silver usually with a hidden pupil. Pupil appears when in a state of intense emotion.

Apparent Age: 25

Actual Age:
Silf: A lady never reveals her age!
Azzy: I’m just going to Assume old by human and probably elf standards.
Silf: …….*glares*
Azzy: you only do that when I'm right!

Height: Six foot one

Skin tone: very light, just a bit more color than completely white.

Garb: She is always covering the cybernetics she has and the bruises it can cause. She tends to wear very professional but shape hugging outfits. She only wears boots for some reason. Her formal wear is very Vietnamese inspired but with longer flowing sleeves.

Cybernetics: Her cybernetics fit around her upper arms and wrap around to her shoulder blades. The metal is very flexible and almost like a second skin allowing full movement. There is a sequence of metallic vertebrae forming with her spine starting just below her neck. The third metallic vertebrae is an energy reservoir that helps the cybernetics function. Bruises normally surround the skin around the metal. There are surgery scars along Silf's back also.

Siren traits: Silf looks like a pretty normal person with pointy ears until you get her wet. Her skin reacts by breaking out in soft light blue scales. Her pointed ears become almost fin like.


Abilities/Powers:

Vocal Magic: Silf has an amazing voice that can be used to channel energy or do the whole ‘siren temptation’ thing which in reality most vocal students can learn to do regardless of race. Except for blasting her voice across campus Silf doesn’t sing for fun anymore. When she uses vocal magic her lyrics are normally very dark.

Wind magic: Used mostly to separate fighting students or catch ones that think jumping off a building is a smart idea. She can create small pockets of air to act as a pillow. She can also sharpen the wind to use it almost as a barrage of blades.

Dark illusion: A darker aspect of Silf that only appears when she’s really angry, as in you just killed/seriously hurt one of her friends. severe and even vicious mental attack. She creates illusions and traps a person’s mind in a realm of shadows and torture. She can even create the illusion of pain. Her demeanour takes a 180 shift, becoming sadistic and unstable.

Counsellor: She’s a psychologist and knows how to interpret most beings minds. It’s her job to guide student in the right direction. She’s also very good at mind games.

Empathy: Silf can sense strong emotions. She also can figure out via your stress level if you’re lying to her or not.

Teaching: A birds and bees fanatic, no student escapes her wrath of health class goodness. In the case where a substitute is needed Silf can be called into either school to teach for the day. She’s an on site substitute.

Physical combat: Killer ear tugging form, No ears shall be safe! In any case she’s quite good at hand to hand combat and uses her enhanced strength to gain the upper hand. At first glance she seems like a brute force type but she isn’t. Her speed and flexibility are what make her a tough opponent. Her stamina is very good, so if she’s getting tired in a fight then you know her opponent is good or cheating.

Weapons: Silf doesn’t particularly like weapons but she can use a staff or trident with great proficiency. She’s good enough at most other weapons to give students a run for their money.

Cybernetics: Silf’s upper arms and spine are melded with cybernetic technology. It produces enhanced strength. It can also be considered armour although the metal is not as strong as titanium or other alloys. She’s also very flexible do to the spinal cybernetics.

Cooking: She can work a microwave and boil water.

Survival: She’s pretty good at wilderness survival, but don’t trust her food….EVER!


Weaknesses: Electricity. She’s a magnet for shock and hates going up against anything that uses electricity as a weapon. It can fry the networks of her cybernetics and leave her arms mis-functioning or in the worst case scenario completely useless until she can start a re-boot process.

Here's some prelim sketches for Dai. Otherwise known as DD. Or Devil Dai or Dark Dai XD I may randomly have to inject KM characters as if this were an alternate KM universe, just for my own amusement. I kinda reverted back to my normal style for this one so when I redraw it later and figure out Dai's outfit he'll get a drawing style change.





Name : Daitsu Hikagura (for now ... I may want to change his name to reflect his demony nature ... like maybe Dardai. XD Except that sounds too much like JarJar.)

Weapon: Gun Sword

Style: Goth (something like Devil May Cry)

Personality: Reckless, fickle, angsty.

Mode of transport: He's going to need a motorbike ... unless I can't draw it. Then he gets an electric scooter XD

Magic: Unknown. His power was sealed by some evil redhead.

I'll make this more serious when he actually appears in the comic.

edit: I think I shall make his name Daixx Omega and flip that symbol on his forehead so it's actually an Omega.

Name: Tydaris Syndication (AKA: Tyde)
Race: Siren
Gender: Male
Best Genre: fantasy

OPTIONAL:
Personality: At first glance Tyde is a fun-loving being who’s the first to crack a smile and the last to get angry. He has a knack for saying the wrong thing and getting hit in the face, or slapped, or some other form of physical abuse. He’s the lovable and slappable idiot friend. Trouble follows him everywhere but so does riotous laughter. He’s good natured and well intentioned.

Tyde has his smart moments. He may at first seem like an idiot but he is actually very observant. He sees things that others miss or take for granite. He’s dedicated to his friends and normally can instantly tell if something is wrong with one of them. He can change into the calm and empathetic friend when it’s needed. His anger is rare but it packs the punch of a raging tsunami.


History/Bio:
Tyde’s mother (Naria Syndication AKA: Nari) is a renown water user and Tyde has obviously inherited some of his mother’s talents.

Tyde was raised by his single mother whom travelled the world giving demonstrations, lectures and competed in various water challenges. As such Tyde has seen a fare amount of the globe. Despite not going to a formal school of education Tyde was home schooled and tutored as he traveled with his mother. Travelling all over was fun for Tyde he was always optimistic and had an easy time making friends. He and his mother are really close and on a first name basis with each other, most who see them together mistake them for brother and sister.

He gained the scar on his chest when he was thrown into the rocks after a nasty wave took him.

Throughout his life Tyde was taught how to use water by his mother. He even competes with her in surfing competitions and water battles. He was accepted into the school of magic and for the first time was able to have friends for a longer amount of time. His mother constantly visits or comes to the campus for ‘work related’ things.

Appearance:
Hair: wild and continuously messy. Uneven lengths. Teal coloured. Even with a bottle of gel his hair won’t stay ‘proper’ looking.
Eyes: Pink and pupiless. The pupil only appears in times of heightened emotions
Skin tone: tanned. Surfers tan.
Build: well built and toned
Height: 6 foot 2
Usual garb: Tyde is the reason they invented the ‘no shirt, no shoes, no service policy’ He doesn’t often wear a shirt or shoes. He normally sports a pair of longer board shorts or cut off khaki cargo pants. In cases where he actually has to wear more clothes he’ll normally wear a sleeveless mid-drift top and flip flops. <_< I think he only owns that one top.
Scars: Tyde has a scar on his chest. Above his right pec.
Siren features: When his skin gets wet his Siren features appear. His scales are purple with pink undertones. His ears become fin like.
Accessories: He sports two bandages on his cheeks. (They lessen the impact of slaps to the face) He also will wrap his wrist while doing combat training.




Abilities/Powers:
Water magic: He’s very talented at using water. It can be used in offensive and defensive ways. He also uses it for his own amusement. Tyde is very good at finding sources of water, whether it’s in an underground reservoir or floating in the humid air. As a last resort he will even dehydrate himself slightly.

Music: Tyde loves music. He can sing and has a good voice but doesn’t use his voice for anything magical. He can play keyboard and guitar.

Sports: Tyde loves sports and he excels at any that involve water. He’s an excellent surfer on water, sand or snow if a board is available he’ll find his own waves.

Reverse healer: Tyde is able to open old wounds and instead of healing organs can inflict ruptures with a concentrated punch. He can induce fevers and he can intensify pain rather than lessen it and stop the heart if he’s able to lay his hand flat on an opponent’s chest for about 10-15 seconds. It’s rare for him to use this outside of the classroom. It irks him to no end that he’s a reverse healer.
Summoning: Tyde is currently learning to summon. He can summon goldfish at the moment. He hopes to one day be able to summon the spirit of water or at least a minor water nymph spirit.


Combat: Tyde has a flair for combat (maybe it’s because he’s hit so much?) He’s trained in the use of various martial arts and weapons. His weapon of choice would be the wooden katana, non-lethal but able to distribute a good amount of damage. His style of fighting is very fluid like water and almost dance like. He’s efficient and will use the least amount of energy possible to take down a foe.

Cooking: So long as he’s not following a recipe Tyde is an excellent cook. He cooks from scratch and memory best. It takes him a few tries to get a cook book recipe correct.
